From the Chicago Tribune, April 16th, 1989:

“Patrick Henry, founder and director of the Free Street Theatre of Chicago, died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness… Mr. Henry, 53, a native of Portland, Ore., was a fifth-generation descendant of the Revolutionary War statesman for whom he was named. He attended Reed College in Oregon and the University of Oregon before receiving his master of fine arts degree from the Goodman School of Drama, and he briefly danced with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo before turning to a life in the theater.” Read the whole obituary here.
