Epic Tales from the Land of Melanin: Through Free Street’s In/House series, FEMelanin presented “Epic Tales from the Land of Melanin,” a joyful and participatory performance aimed at audiences ages 5 and up. A quest from learning self defense sequences to battling hula hoop force fields, Epic Tales follows the adventures of 3 girls of color – warriors, explorers, and friends – as they take us on a funny and poignant journey to change the world.
