An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Saturday, repeating until November 19, 2022
Join us for our free upcoming Storytelling Workshop Series at Plant Chicago (4459 S Marshfield Ave) starting Saturday October 29th, November 5th, November 12th, November 19th and November 26th.
Every week we will follow a theme that explores different facets of community wellness, labor justice, environmental justice and mass incarceration. Joy + Justice storytelling workshops invite us to imagine a Chicago where no human being is disposable and where the health and wellbeing of our communities, especially Black and immigrant communities on the South Side of the city, is central to the city and economic planning.
Every workshop will take place on Saturday from 1:30 – 3:30 pm at Plant Chicago (4459 S Marshfield Ave)

Sobre el Proyecto:
Los talleres narración, Alegría y Justicia nos invita a imaginar un Chicago donde ningún ser humano es desechable y donde la salud y bienestar de nuestras comunidades, especialmente las comunidades negras e inmigrantes en el sur de Chicago son fundamentales para la planificación económica de la ciudad.
Cada taller tomará lugar los Sábados desde 1:30 – 3:30pm en Plant Chicago ( 4459 S Marshfield Ave ).
Los temas tocan sobre diferentes facetas del bienestar comunitario, justicia laboral, justicia ambiental y encarcelamiento masivo.
