Free Street will be hosting a free outdoor event for CPS students to get free backpacks, notebooks, and other school supplies. The event will feature some live performances, including music and poetry, as well as other vendors like Plant Chicago to sell local products and goods.

Open Workshop for Youth
An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until October 5, 2023
Free Street is welcoming new members to our youth ensemble program! In this paid program, participants work with youth from across Chicago to create an original play that investigates environmental justice in our city. Youth will meet weekly Tuesday, and Thursday, from 5-7 through the fall, and then start back up in February to prepare for their show premier in May of 2024.
