NEIGHBORHOOD ENSEMBLE: LITTLE VILLAGE

Free Street’s teen ensemble at Little Village high school is comprised of students who attend the Social Justice High School. The ensemble began collaborating in the Fall of 2010 under the leadership of D-Nick The Microphone Misfit. Like the resident ensemble, the students engage in a rigorous two-year training and production process. The youth artists are teamed with four professional artists who mentor and collaborate with the young artists during the training process. As part of their training, the students develop an original productions that are performed each year at Free Street Theater and at Little Village High School. Their current production DAMAGED PSYCHES runs through May 28.
